It requires less effort for her to get it going and to maintain her speed. In the end, my daughter is very happy that she opted to skip the models that had the extras like sparks, hand brakes, motors and other added features. The Razor A5 Lux is a simple, well-made scooter that is easy to ride and is lots of fun, even for big kids, like me.
